Amazon is looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join the fast-paced world of Payroll operations. We are not an average retailer and this is definitely not your average payroll position reporting in through Amazon Finance Operations. We’re looking for exceptional people with great communication, problem-solving skills, Payroll and/or Accounts Receivable process combined with Payroll and/or Accounts Receivable system knowledge, and customer service passion.

Amazon seeks a Payroll Analyst with at least 2 years of experience in Payroll and/or Accounts Receivable Collections in a large customer-oriented corporate environment.

Responsibilities

1. Knowledge of payslip calculations
2. Inform, follow, collect any open overpayments/receivables and improve collection effectiveness
3. Handle customer queries related to overpayments
4. Provide support and assist in resolving employee queries
5. Work with multiple stakeholder teams to understand the root cause of overpayments and provide details to employees
6. Work closely with Payroll Operations for providing better employee experience and improve collection effectiveness

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. 2+ years of relevant experience (Payroll or AR Collections)
2. Bilingual English/Spanish
3. Good written and oral communication skills
4. Flexible to work in shifts

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Knowledge on Payroll/Taxes
2. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
3. Prior experience in Payroll process
