Job summary

A leading company in finance is looking for an entry-level accounting professional in London. This role involves supporting financial accuracy through meticulous tasks such as invoice matching and vendor statements. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and basic experience in an accounting environment, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial software.

Qualifications

• 0 to 1 year of experience in accounting, preferably in BPO with reconciliations.
• Knowledge of Oracle Financials and proficiency in Excel required.
• Strong communication skills and typing speed of 25-30 w.p.m with 90% accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Matching invoices and maintaining accuracy levels above 98%.
• Preparing vendor statements and conducting quality checks.
• Researching credits, returns, and processing payment holds.

Job description

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Matching invoices from IMDEX
• Maintaining accuracy levels above 98%
• Meeting set productivity targets
• Preparing vendor statements
• Researching credits and returns
• Processing payment hold research
• Conducting quality checks for matched invoices

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Desired skills:

• Degree/Master's Degree in Finance/Accounting
• 0 to 1 year of experience in accounting, preferably in BPO with reconciliations and invoice exception management
• Knowledge of Oracle Financials
• Experience with Six Sigma methodologies, participation in lean projects, quality circles, and creative work groups
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel or similar applications
• Good communication skills – written and verbal
• Typing speed of 25-30 w.p.m with 90% accuracy
• Minimum 6 months to 3 years of relevant experience
