We are looking for a FinOps Analyst to work with customers to understand their cloud consumption and identify opportunities for optimization.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver cloud spend reports to customers
  • Build and improve cloud spend reporting tools and processes
  • Support the FinOps and Managed Services team, as well as the rest of the business with insights on cloud spend analysis and optimization
  • Support the invoicing process by verifying cloud spend data and helping maintain automated processes
  • Support the FinOps team on customer projects by providing cloud spend analysis reports and optimisation insights
  • Help sales by providing cloud spend forecasts and optimization opportunities as part of Cloud Commitment contracting
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud pricing and consumption trends
Requirements
  • Experience in cloud spend analysis or FinOps
  • Experience in a data analyst or data engineer role
  • Good understanding of cloud services and their pricing and consumption models (GCP - must have, AWS - nice to have, Azure - nice to have)
  • Excellent data analysis skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
