Job summary

MCC Label in Nantgarw, Wales, is seeking a Finishing Operator to join our production team. You will operate die-cutting and slitting machines, perform quality inspections, and ensure finished goods meet customer packaging specifications.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with rotating day, afternoon and night shifts. A basic salary plus shift allowance is provided, with UK work rights required and sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in finishing operations.
• Ability to follow strict procedures and own quality sign-offs.
• Confidence to raise non-conformities constructively when needed.
• Good communication and team-working skills.
• Knowledge of IT systems and production processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up slitting and inspection machines to feed finishing processes on time.
• Operate die-cutting or slitting machines to finalise reels per specs.
• Conduct quality inspections and sign off finished goods.
• Raise quality concerns through proper channels promptly.
• Follow health and safety and quality procedures at all times.
• Complete documentation accurately and maintain waste handling.
• Maintain rewinding equipment per preventative schedules.
