Job summary

A leading construction company is seeking a Finishing Foreman for commercial refurbishments in Belfast, reporting to the Site Manager. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with a strong focus on quality and project delivery, along with necessary trade qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Finishing Foreman.
• Trade Qualification preferably in Carpentry or Joinery.
• Strong sense of ownership and excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate various subcontractors on site.
• Ensure high standards in finishing internal building.
• Adhere to health and safety compliance policies.

INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:

Job Title – Finishing Foreman

Project – Commercial Refurbishments

Job Location – Belfast

Salary – £35K - £40K + travel

About the Company

Working with a reputable Top 40 Contractor who specialise in delivering commercial new builds and refurbishments of listed buildings to Northern Ireland.

They are also working on numerous public works contracts.

The Role

• Report to Site Manager.
• Liaise with, coordinate and manage various subcontractors on a daily basis.
• Attend site meetings and host meetings among trades teams.
• Manage multiple teams of trades to handover.
• Finishing internal building to a high standard and in line with programme.
• Manage and drive labour force.
• Ensure H&S and Company Compliance policies are adhered to by all staff members.
• Plan works accordingly to tie in line with project programme.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Finishing Foreman with a Main Contractor.
• Trade Qualification / Construction Qualification. (Preferably Carpentry or Joinery)
• Strong sense of ownership over projects and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to ensure the successful delivery of projects while ensuring a high standard of work.
