Job summary

WR Logistics is seeking a Fine Art Technician / Driver to join their specialist team in London. You will handle and transport fine art, antiques and high-value items, ensuring safe packing and delivery across London and the UK.

The role requires physical fitness, attention to detail and a professional approach; a Class 2 (Category C) licence is preferred, with opportunities to progress to HGV, and a benefits package including private medical insurance and pension.

Qualifications

• Experience within Fine Art Logistics, Removals, Specialist Transport or White Glove Delivery.
• Experience handling fragile, valuable or high-value items.
• Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence is preferred.
• Candidates with experience driving 3.5t or 7.5t vehicles will be considered.
• A clean UK driving licence.
• Excellent attention to detail and care when handling artwork.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Safely collect, transport and deliver fine art, antiques and high-value items.
• Load and unload vehicles using appropriate handling techniques and equipment.
• Pack, wrap and protect artwork to museum and gallery standards.
• Assist with installations, removals and positioning of artwork at customer sites.
• Carry out condition checks before collection and upon delivery.
• Complete all transport documentation accurately.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained in a clean and roadworthy condition.
• Provide exceptional customer service while representing the business professionally.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
• Follow all health and safety procedures when handling valuable objects.
