Our client, an innovative Fine Art Shipping Company, is currently seeking a Fine Art Technician / Driver to join their growing team based in Berkshire.

As the Fine Art Technician / Driver, you will be responsible for packing and securely loading Fine Art into trucks, ensuring they are safe for transport.

Main duties and responsibilities:

1. Pack artwork using appropriate materials and techniques to prevent damage during transit.
2. Operate various lifting equipment safely.
3. Drive company vehicles to transport fine art to locations such as galleries, museums, and private collections, following safety regulations.
4. Coordinate transportation logistics with clients, curators, and team members, addressing any special handling requirements.
5. Complete necessary paperwork, including inventory lists, condition reports, and shipping documentation.
6. Follow safety guidelines and best practices when handling, packing, and transporting artwork.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in Fine Art packing, handling, transporting, or within the Removals industry.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.

Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as needed.
