Job summary

White Recruitment Limited is seeking a Fine Art Technician / Driver in London to join a specialist logistics team. You will safely handle, pack, transport and install fine art, antiques and high-value items across London and the UK.

A Class 2 (Category C) licence is preferred; applicants with smaller vehicle experience are encouraged to apply, with potential to gain HGV licence. The role offers opportunities for long-term development within a dedicated art logistics business.

Qualifications

• Experience handling valuable items such as art, antiques or high-value possessions.
• Excellent attention to detail and careful handling of delicate objects.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely collect, transport and deliver fine art, antiques and high-value items.
• Load and unload vehicles using proper handling techniques and equipment.
• Pack, wrap and protect artwork to museum/gallery standards.
• Assist with installations, removals and positioning of artwork at customer sites.
• Carry out condition checks before collection and delivery.
• Complete transport documentation accurately.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained and roadworthy.
• Represent the business professionally and provide outstanding customer service.
• Collaborate with colleagues to complete projects safely and efficiently.
• Follow health and safety procedures when handling valuable objects.
