Overview

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers with immediate starts for our prestigious client’s site based in Purfleet. We can accommodate shifts to suit your lifestyle. 5 or 6 shifts a week, long term ongoing work all year round. Part time drivers welcome as we have regular ad hoc shifts available.

What you will do

As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will deliver products to store locations throughout the South East, ensuring health and safety is followed at all times. The site operates year round and provides long term ongoing assignments. Regular shifts and start times are offered to suit you. Regular weekend work is available.

Pay and shifts

• PAYE rates:
  Monday to Friday Days (06:00 - 21:59) £19.42 per hour
• Monday to Friday Nights (22:00 - 05:59) £24.27 per hour
• Overtime (Days after 46.25 hrs) £29.13 per hour
• Overtime (Nights after 46.25 hrs) £33.98 per hour
• Weekend £25.83 per hour
• Weekend Overtime after 46.25 hrs £35.53 per hour

Typical pattern is Wednesday to Sunday, but shifts can be arranged to suit you.

Our perfect worker

• No more than 6 points on the driving license
• Digi tachograph card and DCPC
• Minimum 6 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience

Assessments are available immediately with a 2-day Induction to follow. Ideally candidates will be able to work across Wed-Sun shift patterns.
