Job Opportunity: Funding and Optimisation Solutions Analyst at UBS

The Funding and Optimisation Solutions team is seeking a candidate to execute Secured Funding and Collateral Optimisation trading activities and strategies in the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will:

1. Optimize the collateral and funding profile of the GM business, with primary responsibility over the secured funding portfolios.
2. Develop funding solutions that contribute to UBS's Economic Profitability.
3. Facilitate the growth of the client business by partnering with the sales team to develop new funding relationships and deliver financing solutions to clients.

You will be part of the Global Markets Funding and Optimisation Solutions team based in London. This team is responsible for optimizing the scarce resources of the Global Markets business, including balance sheet, funding, liquidity, and risk-weighted assets. The goal is to enhance top-line revenue and optimize returns. A key aspect of your role will involve facilitating client business through close collaboration with sales and trading teams across Global Markets, direct interaction with clients, the broader investment bank, and Group treasury.

Your expertise

• Strong analytical background with a track record in developing and producing valuable analytics.
• Proficient in coding and programming languages, particularly Python.
• Confident communicator, comfortable presenting ideas and solutions to key stakeholders and the global team.
• Self-starter attitude with the ability to develop and maintain client relationships.

Desirable:

• 3-5 years of prior trading experience in repo, collateral upgrades, TRS.
• FCA registration.
