Job description

About NOVA:

NOVA Wealth is a fast-growing start-up looking to change the face of financial advice in the UK. We firmly believe that a human adviser needs to be at the heart of every client relationship; however, by leveraging technology, we empower our advisers to deliver higher levels of service and cut out the day-to-day admin that gets in the way.

At our core, we're here to build a game-changer in the advice industry that delivers better customer outcomes, at a lower cost, for more people. Now, we're expanding our mission by partnering with the UK's leading companies to bring financial wellbeing directly to their employees.

About the role:

At NOVA, we like to do things differently. We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Financial Wellbeing Partnerships Lead to build and scale our corporate wellbeing offering.

This is a critical role where you will own the entire B2B partnerships channel, focusing on tech and professional services firms. You'll be responsible for bringing our comprehensive financial wellbeing package—including expert-led workshops, confidential 1-to-1 sessions with qualified financial planners, and access to digital tools—to new corporate partners. This is a unique opportunity for a self-starter to build a vital growth engine for our business and tangibly improve the financial health of thousands of employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the Partnership Lifecycle: Develop the strategy for and manage the end-to-end B2B sales process, from identifying target companies to successfully onboarding and managing long-term partner relationships
  • Targeted Outreach: Proactively build a strong pipeline of new partnership opportunities, with a primary focus on high-growth technology companies and established professional services firms
  • Build Key Relationships: Forge and nurture strong connections with key stakeholders at target companies, primarily within HR, People, and Benefits teams, acting as their trusted consultant for financial wellbeing
  • Deliver Compelling Solutions: Articulate the value of NOVA's unique wellbeing offering, delivering compelling pitches and proposals that address the specific needs of a partner's workforce
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with our team of financial advisers to coordinate the delivery of workshops and 1-to-1 sessions, ensuring a seamless and high-impact experience for our partners' employees

Requirements:

  • Experience in B2B Partnerships or Employee Benefits: You have a demonstrable track record in a partnerships, business development, or strategic account management role. Experience selling into HR/People teams within the employee benefits space is essential
  • Partner-centric: You put partners and their employees at the centre of everything you do. The ability to build strong professional relationships, understand a partner's needs, and deliver exceptional service is critical
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: We're a fast-growing startup looking to build a new business channel from the ground up. Innovative thinking, commercial acumen, and a determination to succeed are key. The idea of building this function should be exciting to you
  • Team-player: Our teams work in a very close-knit way. You'll need to collaborate effectively across the company, be open to trying new approaches, and give feedback in a helpful and constructive way
  • Integrity: We deal with highly confidential and personal data, so our people must have the highest standards of personal integrity and professionalism
  • Financial Services Acumen: You have a strong understanding of the UK financial services landscape (pensions, investments, financial planning concepts). A formal advice qualification is not required for this role

What we offer:

  • Join a firm with genuine purpose and impact on our customers, along with a strong moral code
  • Competitive salary + benefits (bonus, pension, private medical, income protection, death in service)
  • Potential to get equity in the company in the future
  • Access to Wellness / mental health support (Headspace App + mental health support through private medical)
  • Budget for additional learning / cost of exams
  • Electric vehicle leasing through salary sacrifice / cycle to work scheme
  • Flexible working hours and hybrid remote working (typically 2-3 days a week working in the office (20 Farringdon Street))
  • Exceptionally open and diverse, multinational team
  • Entrepreneurial, creative environment
