Job description

The Vacancy

The role is for a Financial Systems Team (FST) Manager responsible for the firm's ERP system, Evergreen, based on Microsoft Dynamics 365. The system has been successfully implemented across most offices, with ongoing adoption and improvement planned for 2025-28, including further development of core functions and integration with the full Microsoft suite, such as Copilot D365 and agentic development.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with SAGlobal, external consultants, the in-house financial systems team, and IT teams to deliver this rollout and manage continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

The role includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Lead the Financial Improvement Plan.
  • Define scope and objectives related to business applications and processes.
  • Contribute to solution design.
  • Manage delivery of BAU and project work using agile methods and the Asana platform.
  • Coordinate support and business continuity with IT Operations and stakeholders.
  • Oversee defect management processes.
  • Establish achievable SLAs reflecting high service standards.
  • Communicate support arrangements effectively across the business.
  • Ensure environment availability and management with IT.
  • Develop user training in collaboration with the training team.
  • Participate in and contribute to system and process development projects.
  • Identify and document system solutions, minimizing custom development.
  • Follow best practices in documentation and unit testing of in-house development.
  • Maintain configuration management processes.
  • Work with HR, IT governance, and financial managers to ensure controls across applications.
  • Manage relationships with software providers to ensure contractual performance.
Technical
  • Maintain the business management application at the appropriate release level and manage upgrades.
  • Collaborate with IT on infrastructure for performance and security.
  • Build a network of contacts across law firms and software suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Strong stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Experience managing deployments, especially in Europe during M&A activities.
  • Desirable: Agile, AI, and DevOps experience.
  • Proven team management experience.
  • Team player with a collaborative approach.
  • Experience in professional services is highly desirable.
  • Excellent planning and prioritization skills.
  • Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus.
