A government agency is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to maintain and enhance financial systems. You will troubleshoot applications, manage reports, and support business processes. The ideal applicant should have a strong background in customer service and financial systems, and enjoy working collaboratively. We're looking for a financial systems analyst to join our Finance Technology & Information team. You'll utilize your customer service, server/network and end-user information technology expertise to support the daily operations of the division's financial systems.
In this role, you'll be responsible for a variety of functions relating to the systems and business needs of the Corporate Finance, Finance Operations, and Procurement Services departments and their internal clients. We develop and ensure compliance with the organization's financial reporting policies, internal control policies, provide innovative methods to deliver health care solutions to injured workers, and manage payments to vendors and employees.
How you'll make a difference: You'll help protect the financial integrity of B.C.'s workers' compensation system, ensuring we serve British Columbians now and in the future.
Where you'll work
At WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines working remotely, and in our offices based on the operational needs of the position. The successful candidate will be working 2 days per week at our Richmond office.
