Job Description:

The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) sets the standards by which physical quantities are measured, impacting everyday life. We are seeking a Financial Strategy and Planning Manager for a fixed-term contract of 9 to 12 months.

What you'll be doing:

• Developing finance strategies aligned with broader business objectives.
• Working closely with the Head of Finance Strategy in a senior role.
• Designing, producing, and delivering complex financial models, including five-year plans and support for new project bids.
• Supporting critical business decisions through financial reports.
• Building relationships across the organization and championing change initiatives.
• Line managing and developing the finance intern.
