Job Description:

Description:
At Bank of America, we’re creating real, meaningful relationships with individuals and businesses across the country. Each day, we connect with 67 million clients through a growing specialist workforce and our digital platform. We aim to provide care and guidance for our clients when they need us most – whether they are just starting out, buying a home, building a family or planning for retirement.

We are looking for the next generation of Financial Advisors—those passionate about growing a long-term career and improving clients’ financial lives. Join us and receive comprehensive training from our Academy, including hands-on practice, coaching, and support throughout your onboarding. The Academy offers a structured path to becoming an advisor through a multi-stage program, equipping you with the skills needed for success.

As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), you will obtain your Securities Industry licenses, including classes for the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 exams. You will learn to build and manage client relationships, consider complex financial situations, and guide clients with advice and solutions. After reaching key milestones, you will work in a financial center to deliver banking, investment solutions, and client care. Progression to Stage II involves deepening client relationships and expanding your skills, with opportunities for advancement within Bank of America and Merrill.

This position requires SAFE Act registration, including background checks and registration processes. Failure to maintain registration may lead to termination.

We’ll support you to:

  • Build a successful career with world-class training and onboarding.
  • Receive coaching from dedicated managers.
  • Grow your knowledge through a consultative approach.
  • Obtain necessary licenses within specified timelines.
  • Build your network by interacting with various clients.
  • Provide comprehensive advice and client reviews.
  • Collaborate with banking and investment partners.

As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I, you can expect:

  • Unlimited potential for growth.
  • A strong referral network.
  • Managing a portfolio and providing exceptional client care.
  • Marketing support and ongoing professional development.
  • Opportunities to connect with specialists.

Our culture:

  • Supports responsible growth and community service.
  • Offers continuous training and development.
  • Values diversity and inclusion.
  • Focuses on innovative tools and client-first approaches.

Required skills include goal-setting, relationship-building, clear communication, collaboration, managing complexity, adaptability, time management, and regulatory diligence.

Desired skills include computer proficiency, a bachelor’s degree or relevant experience, and experience in financial services or sales.
