Job Description:

At Amazon we’re on the lookout for the curious, those who think big and accept challenges, willing to come build the future with us.

Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) is a paid B2B service that aims to help strategic brands partner with Amazon to grow their business. AVS develops programs to disproportionately grow vendors on Amazon and seeks to continuously enhance its value proposition to vendors. The AVS Experts Service works with Amazon Retail Vendors who are facing supply chain defects that lead to financial deductions. The Expert service provides a dedicated consultative service aimed to identify and sustainably resolve the defects causing these financial deductions.

The Financial Settlement Expert will support internal and external stakeholders in understanding Retail Vendors’ financial deductions. This role will work closely with Retail stakeholders and Finance teams (e.g., accounts payable, finance operations) to audit and create more comprehensive analysis of their accounts, coordinate processes and facilitate understanding of the outcomes. With this analysis and support, the role will contribute to improve vendor experience on Amazon-wide processes relating to financial deductions, help internal and external stakeholders find agreement on how to find common ground and agree on a path forward.

Key job responsibilities
Reconciliation: The role will align with Vendor and Retail teams on the settlement details
Root Cause Analysis: The role will identify defects behind financial deductions in collaboration with the Finance team
Settlement Offer and Payment: The role will present an analysis of the root causes of the defects to senior stakeholders, and subsequently agree on next steps
Post Settlement Analysis: The role will upskill Retail Vendor to reduce financial deductions in the future.
Stakeholder Management: The role will build trusting relationships across job functions and levels within the vendor's organization (e.g., Key Account Mgr, Supply Chain Mgr, Finance Mgr, CEO, Customer Service Mgr) and internally at Amazon.
Process Improvement and Projects: The role will work on cross-functional projects with internal stakeholders related to new process creation and improvement of the Expert team’s work (e.g., facilitating better communication between teams, creating new tools and efficiency through offshoring of simple workflows).
