Job description

Senior Financial Services Trainer - Academy

Location: Swindon (hybrid)

Salary: £50,000

Benefits:

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Determine coaching and development support levels for candidates during all phases of the Academy program to ensure effective progress.
  2. Design and deliver training on prospecting, fact-finding, and presentation skills to adviser candidates and firms.
  3. Serve as a primary contact for candidates and firms requiring developmental support during their initial months.
  4. Review and monitor business plans to drive results post-appointment.
  5. Assess potential candidates for suitability.
  6. Provide mentorship and support to firms to enhance candidate success and foster supportive partnerships.
  7. Identify and support growth opportunities for firms and external entrants within the adviser population.

Requirements:

  • Level 4 Diploma qualification and Mortgage qualification; Chartered status preferred.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training and facilitation.
  • Experience as a Financial Adviser is advantageous.
  • Track record in coaching, mentoring, or sales management with demonstrable results.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK as needed.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Good knowledge of FCA guidelines.
  • Ability to communicate the Business School’s vision and curriculum with enthusiasm.
  • Understanding of the adviser proposition and population.
