You will have full line management responsibility for your team. You will ensure that all client correspondence and business processing are completed to a high quality and in a timely manner by demonstrating effective delegation and workflow management within your team of CDAs.
Responsibilities
- Full line management responsibility of the CDAs;
- Conduct monthly 1:1s, ongoing performance and behaviour management;
- Manage appraisals, salary reviews, and objective setting;
- Handle holiday requests, sickness/absence, and day-to-day HR queries;
- Ensure effective workflow management through task assignment and delegation;
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including colleagues and third parties;
- Oversee financial transactions to ensure accuracy and FCA compliance;
- Monitor and oversee workflow, working with fellow Team Leaders to balance workload;
- Build and maintain relationships with the CRM team to ensure communication and prioritisation align with adviser and client needs;
- Handle complex technical new business processing, such as Defined Benefit transfers, specialised investments, or Family Office support on an ad-hoc basis;
- Take on cases or tasks during high volume periods or limited team capacity;
- Maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and third parties;
- Ensure data in Curo is accurately maintained to support MI reporting;
- Present at team meetings as appropriate;
- Communicate Management Information (MI) and forecasts;
- Assist with recruitment and interviewing of new team members.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks daily;
- Ideally experience in a Team Leader or Senior CDA role;
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and targets;
- Confident in managing relationships with advisers and team members;
- Strong delegation and workflow management skills;
- Excellent communication and people skills;
- Ability to prioritise work to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs);
- Ability to build effective relationships across teams.
