Job summary

Accenture UK is seeking a Security Consultant – Architect to join our Financial Services Cybersecurity Practice in the UK, with flexible location and client travel. This role requires deep expertise in security architecture, risk reduction, and regulatory compliance across banking, payments, capital markets and insurance sectors.

You will design secure technology solutions, define controls, conduct threat modelling (MITRE ATT&CK), and guide delivery teams from strategy to implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant cyber security or tech discipline.
• Experience in cyber security, security architecture, or technology risk.
• Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
• Ability to translate relevant laws, regulations and standards into practical security requirements.
• Familiarity with cloud, network, IAM, DevSecOps, and security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design secure technology solutions and embed security throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Identify security requirements, controls and risk treatments across projects.
• Conduct threat modelling using MITRE ATT&CK to identify threats and controls.
• Define monitoring, logging and security assurance requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and stakeholders to apply security-by-design.
