Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Security Consultant – Architect for Financial Services in the UK. The role focuses on designing secure technology solutions, reducing cyber risk, and embedding security across the delivery lifecycle.

You will engage with clients in banking, payments, and capital markets, applying latest technologies and industry frameworks. You will work within a dynamic Cyber Security team to translate laws and standards into practical requirements, partnering with architects, engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in cyber security, security architecture or related field.
• Experience delivering security requirements and controls within technology transformation or delivery programmes.
• Experience within financial services or other highly regulated industries.
• Understanding of core security principles including Zero Trust and secure-by-design.

Responsibilities

• Design secure technology solutions, reduce cyber risk, and embed security throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Identify, define, and assure security requirements, controls, and risk treatments across projects.
• Conduct threat modelling using frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and recommend controls.
• Support solution design, development, and deployment to ensure security requirements are met.
• Define monitoring and assurance requirements to identify incidents and potential compromises.
