Job summary

Accenture UK & Ireland seeks a Financial Service Cybersecurity Architect to join our rapidly growing UK & Ireland Financial Services Cybersecurity Practice. You will become a pivotal member of a high-performing team tackling complex security challenges across banking, payments, capital markets and insurance.

You’ll work on innovative projects with colleagues to drive collaboration from strategy through to implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and hands-on cyber security experience.
• Experience delivering security requirements within technology programmes.
• Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust, defence-in-depth and secure-by-design.

Responsibilities

• Identify, define, and assure security requirements, controls, and risk treatments.
• Conduct threat modelling using MITRE ATT&CK to identify threats and controls.
• Design functional and technical security requirements aligned with objectives.
• Support design, development, and deployment to implement security controls.
• Define monitoring, logging and assurance requirements to detect issues.
• Support third-party security reviews and supplier controls.
• Maintain traceability from threats to risk decisions and outcomes.
• Produce evidence to support risk acceptance and go-live readiness.
