Job summary

Wyre Forest Health Partnership & WFNIPs is seeking a Financial Resilience Coordinator to join our Neighbourhood Outreach Team. The role works across primary care, community services and the voluntary sector to help residents experiencing financial pressures, debt and deprivation navigate support and build longer-term resilience.

You will provide hands-on casework, advocacy and practical support rather than signposting, with strong emphasis on referrals, home visits and effective partnerships

Qualifications

• A-levels at grades A*C or equivalent.
• Knowledge of welfare benefits and income maximisation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out holistic financial wellbeing assessments.
• Complete welfare benefit and income maximisation checks.
• Support residents with applications for benefits, grants and local support schemes.
• Deliver budgeting and financial capability support.
• Refer specialist debt, legal and housing matters to partners.
• Provide outreach work across local neighbourhoods and home visits.
• Conduct outreach and case management with GP surgeries and community venues.
