Job description

We're partnered with a Lloyds Syndicate on the search for a Financial Reporting Manager to oversee and prepare the statutory reporting for the Syndicate, Corporate Member and Managing Agent.

Responsibilities include;

• Lead the periodic statutory reporting process in line with US and UK GAAP
• Lead and submit UK tax returns, partnering with external advisory stakeholders
• Oversee the production of monthly, quarterly and yearly management accounts
• Provide forecasting and variance analysis for senior leadership to to support with strategic decision making
• Line Manage Financial Reporting Analyst provide coaching and development
• Manage the relationship with external auditors for both Syndicate and UK Branch
• Drive financial reporting efficiencies, ensuring processes are smooth and accurate deliverables are achieved on time

You must be;

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA)
• Extensive statutory reporting experience (UK & US GAAP) within Lloyd's and London Market
• Experience training, developing and managing junior team members
• Proven experience of building and enhancing reporting processes and systems
• Excellent communication skills and can confidently represent finance to senior management

Salary on offer is up to £130k + bonus, benefits and hybrid working.
