Fast-paced business based close to Bathhas a new opening for a Financial Reporting Manager to work with senior business executives, providing financial advice and driving operational efficiency. Working within the Group Finance Team and owning the financial accounting for a key division, as well as a number of technical areas, you will be a key figure in this highly progressive and ambitious organisation.

Role

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the financial reporting and balance sheet management of a major UK business unit. Working as part of a high performing finance team, you will provide commercial business partnering, analytical and reporting support the business. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Supervising monthly financial statements, including review of consolidation and management of balance sheet
  • Helping to manage the month end close process and the balance sheet reconciliation process
  • Preparing financial statements and disclosures for external reporting at interim and year-end
  • Identifying changes in external accounting, regulatory and legal disclosure requirements that will have an impact on the Group’s external financial reporting

The role also aids the delivery of the segments revenue and profit targets and is responsible for driving the understanding of all P&L performance drivers and management of performance issues. You will also drive an increased level of insight through in-depth analysis to challenge current assumptions, identify opportunities and deliver business benefit.

About You

Of graduate calibre, you will likely be a recently qualified ACA or ACCA. You will possess cultural awareness and sensitivity and be an excellent communicator with both internal and external colleagues at all levels.
