About Our Client

Job Description

  • Coordinate and submit monthly financial statements in accordance with IFRS for the UK entities.
  • Manage Accounting, Tax, and Treasury team.
  • Coach and develop team members.
  • Foster personal growth aligned with objectives.
  • Work closely with the Financial Shared Service Centre on sub-ledger processes.
  • Prepare and review general ledger reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Analyse financial results versus expectations, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Provide technical accounting support to the business.
  • Enhance reporting/planning systems and standardise procedures.
  • Review and implement changes in accounting, tax, and company law.
  • Lead contact for the external auditors.
  • Prepare annual statutory accounts and other ad hoc financial reports.
  • Preparation and management of the liquidity planning forecasts.
  • Management of operational banking,coordinating with Group treasury, the Financial Shared Service Centre and our corporate bankers.
  • Responsible contact for external tax consultants, Group Tax and HMRC.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Significant experience in practice and finance functions, preferably within a large corporation
  • Proven ability to manage and develop teams
  • ERP System exposure- SAP is desirable
  • Strong skills in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
