You will be working in Saga’s largest finance team within our Insurance Community. This technical finance team manage the accounts receivables and full reporting of transactions for over 1.5 million customers across our main insurance products: Home and Motor.
Working as our dedicated Reporting Lead for this area you will fully own the balance sheet ledger for SAGA in-house underwriter, Acromas Insurance Company Limited (AICL).
You will be responsible for the accuracy of the balance sheet and financial reporting, working closely with the R2R team and rest of the FR&C team.
Your role will be pivotal to producing reliable financial information for all AICL internal and external financial reporting requirements, including but not limited to; preparation of the statutory financial statements, oversight and management of the balance sheet and liaising with both internal and external auditors.
You’ll be working closely with the rest of the FR&C team, supporting the continuous improvement of processes and quality of the financial information across Saga Insurance.
**Remote working with a homebased or hybrid approach, you will be required to visit our Ashford, Kent hub on occasions. If you are based in the South East, you will be welcome to visit more often. This will be discussed during the process.
Role Responsibility
Our Financial Reporting Leadwill report directly to the Financial Controller and have oversight of the Record 2 Reporting team and Accounts Receivable team. You will be fully accountable for the following areas;

Our ideal Financial Reporting Lead would be full or part-qualified in accountancy, such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA, with experience within an underwriting business.
