About the team

Our Accounting, Advisory and Compliance Solutions team provides outstanding quality of work and service to our clients, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements under IFRS and UK GAAP, as well as supporting them with additional accounting services. Our clients range from SMEs, entrepreneurial and private clients to larger organizations based both in the UK and internationally, spanning sectors such as manufacturing, services, education, and retail.

About the role

You will be focused on preparing statutory financial statements primarily under IFRS, FRS 101, and FRS 102 for UK companies and complex groups. Responsibilities include preparing statutory accounts, particularly consolidated accounts, working on consolidations with business combinations, cash flow reporting, and complex disclosures, using our accounts preparation software OneSource and CaseWare.

• Qualified accountant with broad practical experience in accounting and statutory financial statement preparation, including a strong understanding of journal entries and applying accounting principles to new scenarios.
• Proven expertise in preparing IFRS and UK GAAP FRS 101 and FRS 102 statutory accounts for various business sizes, including large groups.
• Experience in preparing complex consolidations and cash flow statements.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities, often working on several financial statements simultaneously.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing timelines and priorities.
• Experience discussing IFRS and UK GAAP standards application with clients.
• Recent experience working in a practice accountancy environment.
• Experience coaching and guiding junior team members.
• Knowledge of OneSource and CaseWare is preferable but not essential.
