As a Financial Reporting Consultant (internally known as a Professional Services Manager), you’ll leverage your accounting expertise to support our clients with complex external reporting requirements. You will work closely with clients to manage projects involving financial data modeling, XBRL mapping and tagging, and reviewing statutory and regulatory filings. Full training on XBRL and the Workiva platform will be provided to ensure delivery of high-quality reporting solutions.

What You’ll Do

1. Lead customer projects to produce accurate, high-quality financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory frameworks.
2. Map financial statements, notes, and schedules to appropriate XBRL taxonomies.
3. Understand and apply relevant accounting policies and standards to reporting structures.
4. Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, taxonomies, and regulations, and proactively apply these updates to customer work.
5. Manage multiple moderate-complexity projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.
6. Resolve customer queries and technical issues, acting as a trusted advisor.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, and Learning & Development to improve processes and incorporate customer feedback.

What You’ll Need

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or external audit, preferably within a firm or corporate environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with financial reporting systems or XBRL tagging is highly desirable but not required (training provided).
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS, regional GAAP).
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical information clearly to clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, focusing on quality and client success.
• Resilient, proactive, and customer-focused attitude.
• Comfortable working remotely in a collaborative environment.
• Exposure to regulatory filings, financial disclosure processes, or audit.

Travel & Working Conditions

• Less than 10% travel expected.
• Reliable internet access required for remote work.
