Job summary

Line Up Aviation is seeking a Financial Analyst for a 6-month contract in Oxford. The role involves supporting financial reporting on defence projects and aiding future bid campaigns.

The position requires on-site presence (minimum 3 days/week) and an hourly rate of £37.01 via Umbrella, inside IR35. Responsibilities include payroll journals, fixed asset monitoring, VAT, reconciliations, intercompany invoicing, statutory audit support, forex reporting and month-end tasks.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of finance principles, payroll, asset control and invoicing; Forex reporting.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Good report and procedure writing skills.
• Proficient in MS Office with emphasis on Excel.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Understanding of work package management and control.
• Knowledge of risk management principles.

Job description

Our client has an opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join them on a contract basis for 6 months. You will be supporting on the financial reporting on defence projects and support to future bid campaigns.

Location

Oxford, minimum 3 days on site per week, could be more depending on project needs.

Hours

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00

Clearance

Must be eligible for MOD Security Clearance

Hourly Rate

£37.01 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35

Requirements:

• Good working knowledge of finance principles, experience with payroll, asset control and monitoring, Invoicing. Forex reporting

• Use of MS office and Excel in particular
• Ability to coordinate a number of tasks simultaneously, and to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
• Solid understanding of work package management and work package control
• Knowledge of risk management principles

Other requirements:

• Travel within UK and occasional travel within Europe
• Full driving licence preferred but not essential
• Eligible for MoD Security Clearance
