You'll work closely with Finance and Treasury to deliver high-quality reporting and analysis, developing dashboards and MI to support decision making. The role is hybrid, with 2 days in the office, and includes a 10% bonus and free parking.

We're looking for a Financial Reporting Analyst to join a successful market-leading business based in North Bristol. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid finance background, a naturally analytical mind, and a genuine interest in using data to solve problems, improve reporting and help the finance team make better decisions when managing their bank balance. You won't simply be pulling numbers from a system and sending them on. You'll be asking why the numbers look the way they do, spotting trends and anomalies, improving how information is produced, and turning financial data into something people can actually use.
The role sits at the heart of the business, and accurate, insightful reporting is critical. You'll work closely with Finance, Treasury and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality reporting and analysis across the function.
You'll need previous finance experience and strong analytical ability. You don't necessarily need to have spent your entire career in finance what matters is that you're comfortable working with financial information and enjoy getting underneath the numbers. We're particularly interested in people who have experience with at least one of the following: VBA, SQL, SAS
Excellent attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture is required as is the ability to investigate a problem, understand the data and explain your findings clearly. You'll bring a curious, improvement-focused mindset, the confidence to work with, stakeholders and be able to challenge information when something doesn't look right.
