Fixed Term Contract 12 months • Hybrid (1 day per week in the office) • Full time, 37.5 hours

Salary £51,400 to £64,200 per annum plus Bupa Benefits

As a Financial Reporting Accountant, you’ll be part of our Financial Reporting Team (FRT) at Bupa Global. This team is responsible for delivering accurate, timely financial results and insights that support decision-making across the business. You’ll be stepping into a key role while another team member supports a major project, making this a great opportunity to contribute meaningfully and grow professionally.

You’ll work across both management and statutory reporting, gaining exposure to international, multi-currency financial operations and collaborating with stakeholders across the business.

How you’ll help us make health happen
  • Prepare and analyse monthly management results for Bupa Global
  • Present financial insights to key stakeholders as part of the flash reporting process
  • Lead quarterly statutory reporting, including commentary and responses to Group queries
  • Manage the preparation of financial statements for various branches and oversee the audit process
  • Support wider team, market unit, or Group initiatives as needed
  • Ensure all reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with Group policies
Qualifications and skills

Key qualifications and attributes for this role include a professional accounting qualification and experience in international, multi-currency reporting.

  • A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA or equivalent) is essential. Please state this on your application.
  • Strong experience in both management and financial reporting, ideally in an international, multi-currency environment
  • A passion for process improvement and re-engineering
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • A collaborative approach and a track record of working well in a team

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to process financial data quickly
