Vodafone UK is seeking a Finance Analyst to join the Networks Budget Governance team in a hybrid role based in Newbury. The position focuses on end-to-end financial governance for Capex/Opex and operational processes, supporting planning, forecasting and reporting for a multi-billion-pound budget.

You will analyze performance, identify risks, and drive improvements in reporting with automation and data-driven insights, while collaborating with finance, PMO and operations teams.

Competenze

  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to turn complex financial data into clear insights.
  • Experience in financial reporting, forecasting or performance analysis in a complex environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain reporting tools (Power BI experience beneficial).
  • Confident communicator who can challenge and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in governance, PMO or structured delivery environments.
  • Understanding of financial processes, systems (e.g. SAP or Oracle) or data-driven decision making.

Mansioni

Job Description

Join our UK Networks team, where we're continually building and enhancing our network, connecting millions of people and businesses across the country. Be part of the team that makes it all happen - simplifying, automating, and bringing better connectivity than ever before, with giga-fast speed, to our customers.You'll join the Networks Budget Governance team, a central function responsible for the end-to-end financial governance of a multi-billion-pound budget across Capex, Opex and operational processes. This is a high-impact role where your work directly supports how we plan, invest and deliver our network infrastructure.

What you’ll do
  • Lead end-to-end financial performance reporting across Networks, including forecasting, budget tracking, variance analysis and reforecasting

Qualifications

Who you areYou bring a strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex financial data into clear, actionable insights. You're comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and thrive in a fast‑paced, delivery‑focused environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, with advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, lookups, automation)
  • Experience working with financial reporting, forecasting or performance analysis in a complex environment
  • Ability to build and maintain reporting tools (Power BI experience is beneficial)
  • Confident communicator who can challenge constructively and influence stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Experience working within governance, PMO or structured delivery environments
  • Understanding of financial processes, systems (e.g. SAP or Oracle) or data‑driven decision‑making
