As part of a continual drive to develop our finance team's ability to add value, we are currently seeking a driven individual to join Carter Jonas as a Financial Planning and Reporting Analyst, based at our Peterborough office. This varied role involves collating KPI information and participating in the production of monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

We are seeking someone who is part-qualified in CIMA/ACCA or AAT qualified, looking to progress to a CIMA or ACCA qualification. You should have up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and experience in a professional service, corporate, or LLP environment. Experience with systems like Business Central and reporting tools such as Jet Reports or Power Pivots would be highly advantageous.
It is essential that you possess excellent attention to detail and accuracy, are enthusiastic and proactive, and have strong numerical and analytical skills. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be a team player, and possess strong problem-solving abilities. Full computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook, is required. Ideally, you will have substantial experience in a similar industry or a reputable accountancy firm.
