Job summary

Premier Jobs UK is recruiting an experienced Financial Planning Manager to lead a team of around 20 financial advisors (employed and self-employed) across the region in a fast-growing wealth management firm.

You will coach advisors to hit business plans and commercial targets, drive growth while maintaining compliance, and shape the future of the advisory capability with strong training and development support.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing financial advisors in a wealth management or IFA environment.
• Strong track record of driving commercial results and advisor performance.
• Experience with both employed and self-employed advisor models.
• Desirable: Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent

Responsibilities

We're recruiting for an ambitious and results-driven Financial Planning Manager to join a dynamic and expanding wealth management business. This Financial Planning Manager job offers the opportunity to lead, develop, and commercially drive a team of approximately 20 financial advisors (both employed and self-employed) across your region.

As Financial Planning Manager, you'll be responsible for:

• Leading and coaching advisors to achieve their business plans and commercial targets
• Developing strong client implementation plans and monitoring advisor performance
• Having regular advisor-facing meetings, conducting observations, and attending client meetings
• Managing day-to-day training and competence (T&C) responsibilities
• Driving commercial growth whilst maintaining compliance standards

This is more than just a T&C management role – our client wants a Financial Planning Manager who can have motivate, push commercial drivers, and help advisors grow their businesses.

Financial Planning Manager Requirements:

• Essential: Proven experience managing financial advisors in a wealth management or IFA environment
• Essential: Strong track record of driving commercial results and advisor performance
• Essential: Experience with both employed and self-employed advisor models
• Desirable: Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent
• Desirable: Background in acquisitions or integrating acquired advisor practices

Location

Our client is ideally seeking a Financial Planning Manager based in Midlands or within reasonable distance of this region. Alternative location they might be open to include Bristol or Cardiff areas. You'll need to be comfortable travelling within your chosen region to meet with advisors and attend client observations.
