Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

With a store portfolio of c340 stores plus our expanding ecommerce business, we are expanding our current headcount to assist in growing the business over the next 3-5 years.

You report into the Head of FP&A working closely with them and the Finance Director in the creation and development of the Company strategic plan as well as analysis and reporting of performance within the key sections of the business including Ecommerce, Distribution Centre, Shops and Central Control Costs.

Responsibilities of the role include:

1. Overview of monthly management accounts for Retail, Logistics and Central costs
2. Production of weekly trading pack
3. Production of budgets, forecasts and latest views - accuracy is key due to the impact on cash forecasting
4. Production and analysis of Store P&L's
5. Production and analysis of E-commerce P&L
6. Monthly review meetings with budget holders
7. Quarterly store by store review meetings with Regional Managers
8. Production of monthly P&L Packs
9. Interpretation of all financial/management information and make recommendations to senior management
10. Provide financial management information to senior management in respect of strategic and operational decisions
11. Challenge and support the commercial management team on matters that have a financial implication - short and long term
12. Ad-hoc trading analysis of promotions/offers.

Candidate Profile

1. Qualified Accountant - ICAEW, CIMA or ACCA
2. Previous management experience
3. Strong excel skills (pivot tables, v-Look ups minimum)
4. Flexible & diplomatic in approach
5. Excellent communication skills
6. The ability to interact with senior financial and non-financial stakeholders across the business, on a variety of both financial and non-financial matters.
