Job summary

Brewer Morris is seeking an Associate Director to lead FP&A engagements for fast-growing growth and scale-up businesses. You will combine client advisory with business development, manage a portfolio of clients, and guide a developing FP&A team to deliver strategic forecasting, budgeting, and performance insights.

You will work with senior stakeholders, craft financial models, and drive opportunities for expanding the FP&A offering, while upholding the firm's standards and client outcomes.

Qualifications

We're partnering with a growing professional services firm to recruit an experienced Associate Director to play a key role in the expansion of its Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) offering.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys combining strategic client advisory work with business development and team leadership. You'll work with ambitious scale-up and growth businesses, helping them make smarter decisions through high-quality forecasting, budgeting, financial modelling, performance reporting, and strategic insight.

As a senior leader within the team, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of clients, lead complex FP&A engagements, and drive the growth of the proposition by identifying and converting new business opportunities. You'll also support the development of an expanding FP&A team, ensuring excellent client outcomes, strong commercial performance, and alignment with firm-wide standards and objectives.

We're looking for someone with:

• ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent experience
• Strong accounting and commercial finance background
• A track record in business development and winning new work
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving ability
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills, with experience across a range of FP&A tools
