Job summary

UKTV is seeking a financially astute FP&A Analyst to join the Finance team on a 7-month fixed-term contract, supporting business planning, forecasting, performance analysis and strategic decision-making across UKTV and the BBC Studios Group. You'll collaborate with stakeholders in Finance, Commercial and Strategy to translate complex data into actionable insight that drives performance and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in FPA, Commercial Finance, or similar analytical finance role.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial planning experience.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.

• Deliver insightful financial analysis and performance reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Build and enhance financial models, dashboards and reporting tools.

• Consolidate FP&A activity across EMEA and APAC for Global Channels & Streaming reporting.

Are you a commercially-minded finance professional looking to make an impact in one of the UK's leading media businesses?

We're looking for an FPA Analyst to join the UKTV Finance team on a 7-month fixed-term contract, supporting business planning, forecasting, performance analysis and strategic decision-making across UKTV and the wider BBC Studios Group.

Working at the heart of the Finance function, you'll partner with stakeholders across Finance, Commercial and Strategy teams, helping to translate complex financial data into meaningful insight that drives business performance and future growth.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and long-range planning processes
• Delivering insightful financial analysis and performance reporting for senior stakeholders
• Building and enhancing financial models, dashboards and reporting tools
• Supporting business cases, investment appraisals and strategic initiatives
• Acting as a key contact for planning systems and forecasting processes (BPC)
• Consolidating financial planning activity across EMEA and APAC markets for Global Channels & Streaming reporting
• Driving continuous improvement, automation and efficiencies across FP&A processes

We're Looking For

• Experience within FPA, Commercial Finance, Management Accounting or a similar analytical finance role
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial planning experience
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
• Ability to analyse complex data and turn it into actionable business insight
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• A proactive, curious and collaborative approach to problem solving
