Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for numbers and a knack for turning data into actionable insights? We're looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team in the natural resources sector.

Location: London or Bristol (Hybrid)

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth organisation at a pivotal stage in its journey. With operations in sub-Saharan Africa and a recent acquisition of a major gold asset, the company is preparing for a significant relaunch and public listing.

As an FP&A Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of strategic financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to shape financial strategy, support investment decisions, and drive operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Lead financial modelling and scenario planning for long-term mine planning
• Manage budgeting and rolling forecasts to support treasury and cash flow
• Deliver insightful variance analysis and performance reporting
• Build dashboards and reports to track KPIs and financial health
• Partner with business units to support strategic initiatives and decision-making
• Drive process improvements and leverage financial tools for efficiency
• Support investment reviews and long-term strategic planning
• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related role
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience in the mining or natural resources sector is a plus
