The London School of Economics and Political Science seeks a Financial Planning Analyst for a fixed term role within its Finance Division. The successful candidate will assist in the budgeting and forecasting process while developing skills towards a relevant financial qualification. Salary from £36,008 to £40,991 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £43,854 pa inclusive of London allowance
This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months
This is a 12-month fixed term post within the Financial Planning and Analysis team, which is responsible for the LSE's budget and financial planning processes and monthly management account deliverables.
The role will be assisting the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager/(s) with monthly reporting and the budgeting and forecasting cycle.
Candidates should have: excellent written and oral communication skills, advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Vlookups, advanced filters and pivot tables) and experience of prioritising a variety of competing tasks. They should also be flexible and adaptable to meet the variable working requirements of the team and be keen to work towards a relevant financial qualification such as CIMA, ACA or ACCA.
