Job description

The Role
This position reports directly to the Head of Finance and is ideal for a technically proficient accountant seeking to advance into management accounting, controlling, or commercial business partnering.

You will be responsible for managing key financial reporting, supporting month-end close processes, overseeing liquidity planning, and driving improvements across finance operations and broader business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead P&L and balance sheet reporting for month-end close and financial planning.
  • Coordinate account reconciliations with Financial Accounting, Treasury, and Accounts Receivable teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the FP&A team on internal liquidity forecasting and treasury reporting.
  • Provide insightful P&L and headquarters-level commentary ahead of reviews with the Head of Finance.
  • Manage technical aspects of financial planning, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Support the development and enforcement of group accounting and controlling standards.
  • Drive cash flow forecasting and offer insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements in financial processes and reporting systems.

About You

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with experience in finance or FP&A.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach, comfortable taking ownership and seeking process improvements.
  • Experience with SAP and BI tools (e.g., Business Objects) is a plus but not required.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, engineering, or project-based environments.
