Job description

We are looking for an ambitious and commercially-minded FP&A Lead to join our growing Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to build out the FP&A function from the ground up — you will be the first hire fully dedicated to commercial finance, with a broad remit to shape how we plan, forecast, and make decisions across the business.

Reporting to our Head of Finance, you’ll work closely with the Financial Controller and collaborate with stakeholders across every function. You will own our UK and European financial models, lead the budgeting process, and play a key role in driving performance through insight and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own our UK and European financial models, maintaining and improving them to support accurate forecasting and scenario planning

  • Lead the annual budgeting and regular reforecasting processes, partnering with teams across the business to create aligned and ambitious plans

  • Build and manage our financial planning and reporting tools — currently in Google Sheets we’re open as to how we use and adopt enhanced tooling.

  • Working directly with the Financial Controller, provide monthly reporting and variance analysis that links financial performance to strategic and operational drivers

  • Partner with functional leads (Sales, Marketing, Technology, etc.) to deliver insights, support decision-making, and hold teams accountable to budgets and OKRs

  • Work closely with the Data & Analytics team to automate reporting and improve the quality and accessibility of our financial data

  • Support long-term planning and investment decisions through scenario analysis and commercial modelling

  • Identify opportunities to improve how we work — from process automation to new tooling to more effective reporting

Skills, experience & Qualifications
  • Solid experience in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering — ideally in a fast-paced, scaling environment

  • ACA, CIMA, ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with strong financial modelling and planning skills

  • Confidence building and owning complex forecasts including the ability to create three-way financial models.

  • A commercial mindset and curiosity about how the whole business works — not just Finance

  • Strong communication and influencing skills; able to build trusted relationships across all levels

  • High attention to detail, combined with the ability to simplify and explain the big picture

  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and taking ownership in a high-growth setting

Nice to Have
  • Experience in high volume D2C tech-enabled businesses

  • Experience supporting fundraising, board reporting, or investor relations

What we offer:
  • Competitive salary

  • 25 days holiday (rising to 30 after one year) + bank holidays

  • 5% matched pension

  • Cycle-to-work scheme

  • Opportunities for development and growth

  • A dynamic and supportive work environment
