Job description

Join us as a Financial Planning Adviser at Coutts, where you will play a key role in providing specialist regulated, holistic financial planning advice to our private banking clients. This position offers great exposure in Financial Planning, with a flexible working arrangement that includes some remote work and at least three days a week in the office, attending client meetings as necessary.

What you'll do

In this client-focused role, you'll ensure that our clients' financial needs are met by delivering thorough advice on our regulated financial planning products and services. You will also upskill advisers to enhance client experience and maximize our private banking and financial planning propositions.

Your responsibilities include

• Delivering regulated holistic financial planning products to achieve growth and profitability targets
• Building relationships with private banking stakeholders to promote core products and services
• Developing product documentation and delivering training to teams and stakeholders
• Providing guidance on financial planning advice and products, including complex deals
• Supporting transactions that balance client needs, commercial goals, and stakeholder demands

Required skills and experience

• At least 5 years of current experience in financial planning advice, with Level 6 qualification and active Statement of Professional Standing
• Expertise in protection, investments, pensions, and estate planning
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Understanding of policies, regulatory obligations, and risk management in private banking
