A long-established, highly reputable wealth planning practice just outside Guildford is looking to hire a Financial Planning Administrator to support their continued growth. With over 30 years in the industry, they serve a loyal client base that includes City professionals, families, retirees, and business owners - typically with £500k+ in investable assets, and some clients exceeding £3m.

I've personally visited the firm, met with the Directors, and placed multiple staff here - seven to date - and can confidently say it’s a fantastic, professional, and supportive working environment.

About the Role:You’ll play a key part in the client servicing and administration function, supporting both advisers and paraplanners. This is a varied, hands-on role with a clear route to paraplanning for those who are studying or aspiring to progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and issue letters of authority and obtain valuations.
  • Liaise with clients and product providers over the phone and email.
  • Schedule client review meetings and prepare all supporting documentation.
  • Collect and analyse financial data from providers.
  • Submit and track new business applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date client records, agreements, and signed documentation.
  • Ensure processes are followed and documentation is stored appropriately.

What You’ll Need:

  • Previous experience in a financial planning or wealth management environment.
  • Broad knowledge of pensions, investments, protection products, etc.
  • Experience using Intelligent Office (IO) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Transact, Elevate, Quilter, and Aberdeen is advantageous.
  • A proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a desire to learn and grow.

What’s on Offer:

  • £30,000 - £35,000 basic salary (DOE) plus bonus scheme.
  • Full training and support toward exams and career progression.
  • Opportunity to move into a paraplanning role - this position is available due to an internal promotion.
  • Flexible working hours (office-based role).
  • Generous benefits including Private Medical Insurance, Life Insurance, and Death in Service.
  • Supportive, close-knit team culture with a focus on collaboration, development, and enjoying your work.

If you’re looking to build a long-term career in a dynamic and highly professional firm that values your development, we’d love to hear from you.
