Financial Planning Administrator (route to paraplanner)
£30k - £33k plus bonuses

My client is a wealth planning practice based outside Guildford with over 30 years of operation. I have met the Directors and visited their offices, having placed 7 staff into the business. They have an excellent reputation for providing solid financial advice to private and corporate clients across London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex & Hampshire. Their client base includes City professionals, families, retirees, and business owners, with a minimum of £500k to invest, and top clients investing over £3m.
The Managing Director is seeking to recruit a new Financial Administrator. Typical duties include writing letters of authority and valuations, communicating with clients via phone, scheduling reviews, preparing documentation, collecting data from providers, processing and submitting new business, and ensuring all applications are accurate and complete. You will also manage agreements, documentation, and record-keeping. Full training will be provided. Experience across a range of financial products (Pensions, Investments, Protections) is advantageous. Knowledge of Intelligent Office is highly desirable. The firm uses platforms such as Elevate, Transact, Aberdeen, and Quilter.
The role is primarily office-based with flexible hours. Support for exam studies is available. There is a clear route to becoming a paraplanner, as the current administrator is being promoted to that role.
The MD offers a salary of £30k - £33k plus an attractive benefits package, including Death in Service, Private Medical, and Life Insurance. The environment is supportive, collaborative, and aims to foster both professional growth and enjoyment.
