Job description

MBF is working with one of the UK’s leading Financial Planning & Investment Management firms, known for its strong heritage and outstanding reputation. While they have a national presence, they maintain a close-knit, friendly working environment. Their Financial Planning division has grown significantly in recent years, with ambitious plans for continued expansion.

The opportunity

In this role, you will provide comprehensive support to a team of successful Financial Planners and a portfolio of high-net-worth (HNW) clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Financial Planners and clients.
  • Work closely with Paraplanning and internal teams to ensure efficient and high-quality administration, resulting in excellent client outcomes.
  • Ensure timely and compliant client reviews in line with service levels and regulations.
  • Assist in the scheduling and preparation of client meetings.
  • Ensure all client files are accurate and up to date, both pre- and post-meeting.
  • Manage all post-meeting administrative tasks, including processing Letters of Authority and submitting business to various platforms and providers.
  • Maintain a basic level of industry knowledge through independent learning and workshops.

About You:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Wealth Management/Financial Planning administration role.
  • Ideally working towards CII qualifications (not essential).
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organised.
  • Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and listening.
