Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning firm based in Alton, seeking a Financial Planning Administrator for their Alton office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IFA Administrator to support financial advisers, liaise with providers and third parties, and work in a growing team. The role involves providing full administrative support to a client bank, ensuring high service levels.

If you are an experienced administrator or looking to start a career in financial services, this role offers the chance to be assigned your own client bank and work closely with advisers.

The role is complex, requiring excellent attention to detail and accuracy. You will work independently and adhere to internal procedures and SLAs. Full training, ongoing support, and career progression opportunities are provided, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting financial advisers with administrative tasks
  • Preparing client packs for reviews and meetings
  • Arranging fund reviews
  • Preparing recommendation reports and applications
  • Processing new and existing business, including GIA, ISAs, Bonds, Trusts, SIPPs
  • Liaising with providers like Transact, Standard Life, Aviva, Canada Life
  • Coordinating with professionals such as accountants and solicitors
  • Updating advisers and clients regularly
  • Maintaining client files and compliance
  • Handling client queries and building relationships
  • Managing letters of authority, death claims, probate
  • Supporting advisers for appointments
  • Reporting to the Administration Manager
