Job description

Job Description

This IFA business is evolving. But rather than selling to a consolidator they're keeping succession planning in-house. That means stability, modernisation, and opportunity for you. It's already a successful, profitable company. However, with succession planning in mind, they've conducted a review and recognised the need for investment. This will include potential acquisition of other firms and investment in staff, which is where you come in.

They have several vacancies to join their existing team, where retention is key. Most team members have been here for over seven years, which doesn't happen by accident. This success is due to nurturing and developing people, trusting and empowering them, and rewarding them fairly for their work.

This includes structured onboarding, regular reviews with two-way feedback, ongoing training and exams, and mentorship opportunities. Currently, they are recruiting for a number of administrators. The admin team comprises 4 employees, with plans to grow to 6 or 7 in the coming months.

Your role will support the firm's planners and paraplanners, liaising with clients and providers, processing new business, preparing client meeting packs, and arranging letters of authority.

This position offers a starting salary between £25,000 and £35,000, depending on experience and qualifications, along with a range of benefits:

  • Company pension scheme with enhanced contributions
  • Employee Assistance Programme – Health Assured, offering a 24-hour helpline and confidential support, including 1-1 counselling if needed
  • Full training with a dedicated mentor
  • Free Eye Test Vouchers
  • Discretionary Company Sick Pay

This business is committed to continuous improvement and investment, fostering a culture of humility and excellence. Your voice will be valued in such an environment.

Requirements

You'll have some experience as a financial planning administrator. The firm is hiring two junior administrators where character, ability to learn, and attention to detail are more important than experience. For higher salary levels, experience and exam progress will be more relevant.
