Financial Planner (Chartered or working towards) - Cumbria

Our client is seeking a Private Client Advisor to join their team. The role involves meeting with clients and prospective clients to provide financial planning services aligned with the company's propositions, aiming to generate compliant initial and ongoing income for the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with FCA rules, guidance, and company procedures.
  • Proactively generate new business through existing clients, company-provided leads, and self-sourced opportunities.
  • Handle client affairs with integrity and efficiency.
  • Prepare comprehensive recommendation reports with support from the ParaPlanning team.
  • Maintain and develop client relationships, maximizing their potential, and accurately input information into the CRM system promptly.
  • Meet revenue targets while ensuring work is compliant and up to quality standards.
  • Adhere to the company's Private Client Proposition.
  • Work effectively within a team environment.
  • Respond to referrals within the agreed SLA to demonstrate team commitment.
  • Maintain appropriate Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Preferred Experience:

  • Research, analysis, report writing, and file preparation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
  • Experience working with professional introducers.
  • Minimum QCA Level 4 qualification – Essential.
