We’re on a mission to make financial advice accessible to everyone – and we need passionate, driven people to help us do it. We're looking for an experienced Financial Planner to join our employed team, supporting our growth ambitions for the future.

You'll take accountability for the ongoing production of new business and new clients for our in-house advice offering.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing professional regulated financial planning advice to both new and existing clients.
  • Ongoing service to practice clients by conducting servicing and review events.
  • Acquiring and advising new clients from your own sources and developing new business through referral, networking, and marketing channels.

  • Salary - up to £65,000
  • Bonus scheme - on target bonus of 15%
  • Pension scheme - contribute up to 5% of your salary, with Openwork matching and contributing an additional 5%

Key Accountabilities:

Acquisition: Generate new business and clients through marketing activities, managing relationships with firms, acquired businesses, and referral sources.

Engagement: Explain our Business Proposition and Fee Structure to clients, matching our offerings to their needs.

Discovery: Gather relevant information to comply with our “Suitable Advice Framework” (SAF) and understand clients' needs to provide suitable recommendations.

Planning: Provide high-quality advice, regulated by The Financial Conduct Authority and our SAF and processes.

Implementation: Implement advised plans and recommendations via suitability reports and applications, ensuring timeliness and compliance.

Review: Maintain client relationships, ensuring ownership lies with Partnership Services, and always respecting this boundary.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Services is essential.
  • Proven expertise in advising on wealth products.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-motivated, cooperative, flexible, and enthusiastic.
