Responsibilities

Working within the specialist Financial Lines Division, you’ll be responsible for:

1. Underwriting new business enquiries from a wide variety of brokers throughout the UK.
2. Using sound technical and negotiation skills to secure profitable business.
3. Collaborating with the Claims team and maintaining excellent working relationships with the Technical department and the wider business.
4. Getting involved in interesting ad hoc projects and making a real difference.

Much of the business is Professional Indemnity themed, so you must have strong experience within the PI arena. Candidates from various specialisms (such as Professions, Miscellaneous, Tech, Life Sciences, etc.) will be considered. You’ll need excellent communication skills and a good track record of maintaining and developing relationships with brokers.
